In May 2018, Strategic Energy Management launched through our Custom Energy Solutions program. Currently, 17 companies are participating from the healthcare, commercial property management, seniors housing, manufacturing, oil and gas and transportation sectors and it is expected that the entire initiative will see 55 participating companies in six cohorts. Strategic Energy Management program for Large Final Emitters targets facilities that participate in Alberta’s Carbon Competitiveness Incentive Regulation. The program will be designed for very large and complex facilities to navigate the size, complexity, and energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction opportunities specific to these facilities.

Two cohorts are planned for fall 2019 and are expected to be in the Fort McMurray Region and Alberta’s capital region (including the Alberta Industrial Heartland, Leduc, Wetaskiwin and surrounding areas).
