Past business programs

With energy efficiency programming, Alberta businesses saved money and improved their bottom line.

Business Energy Savings

Business Energy Savings offered incentives for businesses, non-profits and institutional organizations to choose high-efficiency products. The program helped replace outdated and inefficient equipment faster and help reduce emissions and operating costs.

Custom Energy Solutions

Custom Energy Solutions helped Alberta facilities improve productivity, save energy and save money by upgrading inefficient equipment and making other energy improvements. Knowing there’s rarely a one-size-fits-all answer to improving energy use and efficiency in your facility, this program worked directly with industrial and commercial facilities to identify specific goals and needs. The program offered end-to-end support and incentives to identify and implement enhancements designed to deliver the best results for each facility.

Methane Emission Reduction Initiative

Methane Emissions Reduction (MER) helped oil and gas facilities in Alberta identify, reduce, improve or eliminate methane waste through a collection of quick implementation measures and equipment upgrades.

Non-Profit Energy Efficiency Transition

Energy Efficiency Alberta offered direct installations of basic energy efficiency upgrades to eligible non-profit and volunteer-based organizations at no charge.
