Stay connected and keep learning with these online resources

There are many ways to continue your energy efficiency education while social distancing measures are in effect. From webinars and e-learning courses to social networking, here are just some of the online opportunities available to Canadians in the energy efficiency industry.

This round-up, based on Efficiency Canada’s list, shares some of the many options for online learning:

General Energy Efficiency

  • Efficiency Canada is hosting online Discovery Sessions each Friday while social distancing measures are in effect across Canada. Each week, there is an opportunity to learn something new from leaders in the energy efficiency sector.
  • Natural Resources Canada has e-learning modules for energy and GHG management.
  • Guides has an array of resources for all kinds of energy efficiency trades: insulation, ventilation, construction, lighting, and more.
  • IEA offers two free online courses on Energy Efficiency Indicators.
  • Green Energy Futures has more than 150 multi-media episodes covering all topics of energy transition including electric vehicles, rooftop solar, green buildings and more.
  • Visualize the impact of different energy and conservation mixes on global greenhouse gas emissions with the of Design our Climate simulation from Kings University.
